There is no denying that I am a cheese and charcuterie lover, I can have this any time of the day and no matter what, I’m always in the mood for it. There is something about assembling your own bite and your own plate and have an assortment of items to choose from. In my opinion, it’s so important to really load your cheese board with high quality cheese and meats and pair with your favorite accompaniments. (I love mustard + crackers).
What can make a cheese board even that more special is by amping it up for not only an appetizer, but as the main meal.
How to set up a cheeseboard for dinner:
It begins with your choice of cheese, protein, a couple add ons like mustard and pickles, a veggie like salad, roasted tomatoes and a carb (like crackers or baguette).
What we used for our dinner cheeseboard:
- Cheese: Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog, Truffle Tremor, Midnight Moon, and Purple Haze. Protein: Calabrese
- Add ons: Mustard + Basil/Mint
- Veg: Roasted Tomatoes
- Carb: Assorted Crackers
How to assemble:
For dinnertime, you can either assemble it on a cheese board and serve with 2-3 plates to serve yourself, or just assemble it directly on the plate. Literally, dream meal!
