Miso Ramen with Chili Soy Sauce Dip
Miso Ramen with Chili Soy Sauce Dip
When I’m in a pinch, I am always making this miso ramen – and eating it straight out of the pot.
Something about a long work day, or busy work day, having for lunch and dinner and whipping up an umami-filled, cozy meal like this. For this ramen dish, it’s super speedy, I’m not even making eggs, I’m just added on an egg yolk on top – tossed with the ramen, it gives it this perfect creamy texture when tossed all together. SO GOOD.
On top of the ramen I’m also added green onions + sesame seeds = my go-to. Then I’m tossing in a tad of my homemade chili dip. I also like to keep some on the side to dip the ramen noodles in. Such a gem!
I’m all about simplicity and flavor when I’m busy or have had a busy day and this meal is just THAT for this.
For the chili soy sauce dip, it can’t get easier:
first, soy sauce, second, chili flakes, third, sesame seeds and fourth, neutral oil. Basically, you will practically have everything on hand for this in your pantry.
For the Ramen
Here I’m using Myojo Ramen, made according to the package instructions, then tossing in a tad of the chili dip, green onions + egg yolk and saving some dip on the side for noodle dunking. So much YES.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1/2 tablespoon neutral oil
Instructions
- Mix all together and serve.
