1bagabout 1 pound of frozen french friesor homemade french fries
2tablespoonswhite truffle oil
1/4cupgrated parmesan cheeseplus more for serving
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1tablespoonfinely chopped parsley
Instructions
For Frozen Fries: Preheat your oven, or air fryer to 400°F. Spread the frozen fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until crispy and golden, about 25 to 30 minutes in the oven and 15 to 20 minutes in the air fryer, flipping halfway.
Transfer your crispy fries to a large mixing bowl, and drizzle over the truffle oil, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and parsley. Give everything a big toss with tongs until completely coated.
Transfer to a serving platter, topping with more parmesan for serving.
Notes
Use truffle salt: To deepen the umami flavor, you can use truffle salt instead of Kosher salt to season the fries.
Try toppings: Keep it simple and use chopped fresh herbs like parsley (and experiment with others like rosemary and thyme), or toss the fries with a spoonful of Garlic Confit for some extra savory flavor. Even some freshly grated garlic tossed with the truffle fries would work great!
For Parmesan: You can use pecorino romano instead of parmesan for these fries.
Reheating instructions: There’s nothing sadder than cold, soggy fries. But guess what? They’re really easy to reheat. Just pop them in the Air Fryer or a preheated oven for a few minutes until they crisp up again.
