Homemade Brown Sugar Iced Chai Latte
Today: I’m making my mama’s fave drink: an iced chai latte! Steeped chai and black tea leaves with cinnamon and star anise, mixed with homemade brown sugar syrup & frothed oat milk.

Ingredients
chai and black tea mix
(about 3 tea bags worth)

cups boiling water

cinnamon stick

star anise

tablespoons
warm water
1/4
cup
brown sugar
1/2
cup
oat milk
per serving
top with ground cinnamon
Instructions
Make your brown sugar syrup in a bowl by mixing brown sugar and warm water until it dissolves. Set aside.
Next, froth your oat milk and then add in your syrup and froth again.
Steep your chai tea with boiling water, and add a cinnamon and star anise. Steep for 5-7 minutes and cool.
Pour in a glass with ice, top with your frothed brown sugar syrup milk and top with ground cinnamon.

Swap with your
milk of choice
.
You can also remove the
cinnamon
if that's not your vibe!
Add in any of your favorite
flavor enhancers,
such as hazelnut, vanilla, or caramel syrup!
