These Mongolian beef noodles are absolutely the best dinner meal! This Asian-inspired pasta dish is so delicious, and inspired by my favorite dish to order: Mongolian beef!
Made with flank steak and mixed with green onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, red chili flakes, ginger, garlic and lime juice. It’s simple, can be made in one pot and its delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 package of pappardelle noodles or asian flat noodles
- 1 pound flank steak
- 1 thumb ginger thinly sliced
- 2-3 large garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup spring scallions chopped 2-3 inches
- ½ white onions thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black soy sauce optional
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- To begin, cook your noodles according to the package instructions. Set aside.
- Next, heat a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil and thinly slice your flank steak. Cook it first with a drizzle of sesame oil for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and add your ginger, garlic, onions and sweat for 2-3 minutes.
- Add sesame oil, soy sauce, black soy sauce, brown sugar, green onions and chili flakes. Add the steak and then the noodles in. Mix well. Adjust with more soy sauce or brown sugar if needed for more sauciness. Top with lime juice. Serve and enjoy!
