Cranberry Gin Smash
This cranberry gin smash is the definition of the holidays! This cocktail is simple to prepare, and is super impressive. You’ll make a delicious homemade rosemary simple syrup to toss with all the cocktail fixings.
Ingredients
Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Rosemary
- Water
- Sugar
For The Cocktails
- Fresh cranberries
- Cranberry juice
- Seltzer water
- Orange juice
- Gin
- Lemon juice
- Simple syrup
- Ice
Steps To Make This Recipe
Step 1
In a small pot, add your sugar, rosemary and water. Bring to a light boil, then down to a simmer, whisk until all the sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Step 2
In the meantime, in a shaker or glass, take your cranberries and add a dash of your simple syrup. Muddle until the cranberries pop and create a little bit of liquid with the syrup.
Step 3
Add in your cranberry juice, seltzer water, orange juice, gin, lemon juice, ice and the rest of your syrup (2 oz syrup, save the rest for another round of cocktails!) Shake well and serve with a rosemary sprig, and garnish with 1-2 fresh cranberries!

You can supplement gin for mezcal, vodka or tequila here, all will work great!
The simple syrup will keep about 1 mo!
