Fully loaded crispy parmesan sweet potato fries recipe! The easiest snack to whip up and crisp in the oven, have it as a snack or a side with a main protein dish or eat a bunch as your main/in a salad. Epic. These are a wonderful and easy snack to make for any occasion!

I absolutely love this recipe since it can be made in no-time and is it SO satifying!

What ingredients do you need to make parmesan sweet potato fries?

Sweet potatoes: We are cutting out sweet potatoes into medium size wedges, but you can opt to cut in matchsticks, or really any way you love your sweet potatoes!

Olive oil: This is the base of the spice sauce! Avocado oil will work too.

Spices: We are using garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, chili flakes and kosher salt and black pepper. You can use any other spices you like such as cayenne pepper, aleppo pepper, or anything!

Topping and tossing: With freshly grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, chopped!

Parmesan Sweet Potato Fries

Instructions to make these baked sweet potato fries

Preheat your oven and prep your sweet potatoes

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Wash and slice your sweet potatoes in wedges. Option to peel them, but you don’t have to!

Make your seasoning mix

In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, chili flakes, salt and pepper to make your seasoning sauce. Toss in your sweet potato fries/wedges until fully coated.

Bake

Lay your sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet or sheet pan with parchment paper. You can also place on a wire rack or air fryer basket to air fryer as well.

Bake for 30-40 minutes until cooked through and you get your crispy fries, flipping halfway.

Toss with parmesan and parsley

Remove from the oven and transfer to a bowl, sprinkle and toss in parmesan and parsley and dip with your favorite dipping sauce or dressing! If you’d like to make this vegan, you can remove the parmesan.

  • 4 sweet potatoes, sliced in wedges
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • shredded parmesan and chopped parsley to taste for topping
