Absolutely obsessed with this ten minute mayo ramen recipe! I love a good ramen recipe, and this viral tiktok ramen hack does not disappoint. Is mayo good in ramen?! YES. The creaminess from the mayo and egg yolk make this something super special. Add on any of your favorite toppings, like a soft boiled egg, easy homemade chili oil, chicken, beef or tofu! Even some veggies such as grilled mushrooms would be great on this!

What ingredients do you need for this mayo ramen?

Instant ramen noodles: Instant ramen noodles and using the ramen broth with the seasoning packet! we are using Nongshim Black.

Egg yolk: This helps make this broth and ramen super creamy! Don’t worry about it being raw, it does cook through as the hot broth hits the seasoning mixture.

Kewpie mayo: I love to use Japanese mayo here! But, you can use regular mayo, too.

Optional add-ons for this soup: minced garlic, gochujang and seeweed! We are topping with toasted sesame seeds, green onions and chili oil.

Instructions to make this kewpie mayo ramen hack recipe

Boil your ramen noodles

Bring a medium-sized pot with 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add in your ramen noodles to cook, according to the package instructions, but it should be around 3 minutes.

Make your ramen seasoning base

While the water is boiling and the noodles are cooking, add your egg yolk, kewpie, instant ramen seasoning packet, and grated garlic clove in a large deep bowl. Whisk well to combine.

Finish your creamy broth

Add about 1/4 cup of your ramen water to your kewpie mixture and whisk to combine, getting everything combined and not clumpy. Then add in your remaining ramen water and cooked noodles directly in the large deep bowl, and mix well until all combined and your broth is creamy.
